I offer and suggest that clients schedule a trial makeup session at least 3 months in advance of their wedding or special event. This allows a customized look to be developed for each client’s unique style. This is the perfect opportunity to begin to coordinate your look to all the other elements of your special day such as dress color, flowers, your bridal party and even the venue.

Makeup artist services are offered for Brides, Mother of the Bride or Groom, Bridal / Wedding Party, Junior Bridesmaids, Flower Girls, Engagement Photos, Photo Shoots, Proms, Sweet Sixteens / Special Birthdays,
High School Portraits, and any special event where you want to look your best.

TRAVEL & FEES:
Travel is an additional cost of $1.00 per mile. Parking/Valet fees are additional. Venues over a 1 hour drive may require hotel accommodations for the night prior to The Event. An early morning fee of $50 per hour will be added for each hour requested prior to 8am.
Events on holidays will incur an additional 25% service fee charge. All trials are performed at my home studio located in Portsmouth, VA; an additional charge will apply if you prefer to have the trial performed at a location of your choice.

A signed contract & deposit must be received in order to solidify any appointment.
No dates are guaranteed until both, signed contract & deposit, are received.

Includes full face makeup with the application of Mink Lashes that give the appearance of an ultra glam look and feel. Durable for up to 12-15 uses. This application includes skin preparation with contouring using powder & cream products. A mini touch-up kit of the lip color used is also provided to the client.

Hi! My name is Carolyn DiGiovanni, owner of Matte Made Makeup.
I am a dedicated professional freelance makeup artist located in Virginia. With makeup being my passion ever since I could hold a makeup brush, I feel blessed to be able to say that I do what I love.
